Cargo Insurance Claims and Lessons Learnt from Covid-19

The recent Covid19 pandemic has changed certain things about how cargo insurance claims are handled. This webinar will focus on some lessons learnt on technical deviation under the contract of carriage, the potential loss of Hague-Visby (or similar) defences, and risk of a breach of Club cover. This free 1-hour webinar is collaborative effort between the International Malaysian Society of Maritime Law (IMSML) and Persatuan Insurans Am Malaysia (PIAM) and should be of interest to shipowners, insurers, insurance brokers, bankers, lawyers and other interested commercial parties.
